OOMPH! To Release 'Truth Or Dare' In April

The End Records, under exclusive license from Sony Music Entertainment Germany, has set an April 27 North American release date for "Truth Or Dare" from OOMPH!

With a career spanning 20 years and 12 albums provided by the original lineup, OOMPH! has remained an innovative driving force in the German rock scene. After their 20th anniversary in 2009, the band didn't think of taking it easy but instead began looking ahead towards the new decade.

What do you do when you've already reached the top on the ladder of success? Well, just start all over again — but elsewhere!

"Truth Or Dare" is OOMPH!'s greatest-hits collection and will feature re-recorded versions of the band's most popular songs performed in English.

Incorporating many styles of music such as metal, industrial, electronica, alternative, and goth to create their distinct sound, the band has dominated the charts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the rest of Europe.

"Truth Or Dare" will mark the band's first full-length album recorded in English.

The first video for the release, "Ready Or Not (I'm Coming)", premiered on MySpace today. Watch it below.
